Handwoven scarf using shadow weave pattern on a four shaft loom. This involved two colors in the warp and two colors in the weft. The fringe is twisted with fluffy tassels on the ends. The fiber is from my farm - Wyldewood, Elise and Nettie. The scarf has soft feel and a loose drape. It is long enough to double wrap around your neck or to loosely throw across the shoulder.
It has been fulled by washing in warm water with agitation to enable the fibers to bond. Future washing should be done by hand and in cold water. Gently wring out and then roll in a towel to remove excess water. Hang to air dry.
